Ian McLean
ian_mclean.jpgIan McLean is the Chief Executive of Golden City Support Services, an association which provides accommodation and community support to people across Central Victoria. He has twenty six years experience in the Human Services field; four with government services and the balance in the community based, not-for-profit sector.

Ian is involved with Person Referenced Practice, Quality Assurance, Person Centred Active Support, assessment of support requirements through the Support Intensity Scale.He is a participant on the IASSID International Special Interest Group on Quality of Life.

Ian is the Chairperson of Active Property Management Services and is a member of National Disability Services - Victoria Division and its National Accommodation Sub-committee.

 
Graham Forsyth
graham_forsythe.jpg Graham Forsyth was a former Executive Scientist with Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) from where he retired in 2008. His field is in aeronautics and holds, or has held, memberships with several international institutes and committees. He was a Founding Director and Secretary of the International Society of Applied Intelligence (ISAI). Graham has extensive experience in management and scientific research in the areas of machinery diagnosis and materials acquisition for the defence forces, contract supply and departmental organisation and development. He was the founder and the chair of the DSTO Health and Usage Monitoring Conference series from 1997 to 2007 and co-chair of that Conference for March 2009. He is the author of over 80 papers in DSTO and international publication series, including AIAA, AHS, ISAI and DECUS and two published books. He is semi-retired, working as a part-time scientific consultant. Graham is on the boards of Active Property Services Management Ltd and Moira Inc.
 
Warwick Cavanagh
warwick_cavanagh.jpgWarwick Cavanagh is the Chief Executive of MOIRA which provides a wide range of support services for people with disabilities and their families as well as youth in crisis. It has recently developed the highly successful 'Financial Intermediary' arrangement for the Southern Metropolitan, North & West and the Hume Regions.

Warwick has extensive experience in rehabilitation and management with the Commonwealth Rehabilitation Service, managing “Coonac” Rehabilitation Centre and later, Glen Waverley Rehabilitation Centre in Melbourne.

Warwick is a longstanding Board member of Active Property Services Management.

 
John Wheller
john_wheller.jpgJohn Wheller has been a partner with TWB Pty Ltd since 1979.  John has experience with a major international accounting firm where he specialized in auditing. John is the director responsible for audit engagements and providing business services from small to medium enterprises with TWB Pty Ltd.

John has extensive experience in business management and development, and provides ongoing consultancy advise and support to businesses.
 
Estelle Fyffe
estelle_fyffe.jpg Estelle Fyffe is the Chief Executive Officer of annecto - the people network. She has a background across education, disability, mental health and child and family welfare.  She has formal qualifications in Psychology and Management and particular interests in Innovation and Human Systems and Organisation. 

Estelle holds board memberships with Active Property Services Management and the annecto Foundation.  She is on the Victorian State Committee for National Disability Services and Chair of their OH&S sub-committee.
 
Murray Dawson-Smith
murray_dawson-smith.jpgMurray Dawson-Smith is the Chief Executive Officer for Autism Victoria and has worked in the not-for-profit sector for many years.  Murray has provided organisational development to Indigenous communities in both Australia and Overseas.  The advice focused primarily on developing effective governance models and the development of housing options for low income families. 

Murray has also been the Executive Officer of Active and brings a strong understanding of operational issues to the Board and through his role with VICRAID he also brings a strong commitment to the provision of sustainable housing for people with a disability.
 
Frederick Davey

Frederick Davey Q.C. (LLB Hons) (B. Com) is a retired Judge of the County Court. He has qualifications both in law and accounting and has practised for many years as both a junior and senior member of the Victorian Bar. Whilst he was a Judge of the County Court he chaired the steering committee which set up the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) and subsequently was for several years the Judge in charge of the civil division of that Tribunal.

He hopes that his wide legal background will enable him to make a contribution to the Board of Active. Mr Davey says that he was attracted to join the Active Board because of its contributions to the community and its social objectives.
