Frederick Davey Q.C. (LLB Hons) (B. Com) is a retired Judge of the County Court. He has qualifications both in law and accounting and has practised for many years as both a junior and senior member of the Victorian Bar. Whilst he was a Judge of the County Court he chaired the steering committee which set up the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) and subsequently was for several years the Judge in charge of the civil division of that Tribunal.
He hopes that his wide legal background will enable him to make a contribution to the Board of Active. Mr Davey says that he was attracted to join the Active Board because of its contributions to the community and its social objectives.
