Community Housing is housing for people on low incomes and or  households/individuals with special needs.

Community Housing is an important area of social housing provision and provides:

• A housing alternative that is affordable
• A housing alternative that is secure and safe
• Through stable, secure housing it promotes tenant participation in the community

Active aims to assist tenants in achieving long term tenancies. In addition, Active will support tenant participation in the community through building of confidence.

Active will treat all tenants and applicants with respect and dignity.

Active aims to ensure that the cost of housing does not add hardship to tenants lives.

Active in partnership with their tenants will maintain the safety and security of housing.
